Central States NPL expands girls competition ahead of 2024-25 season

CHARLESTON, S.C. (April 4, 2024) – The Central States NPL, a US Club Soccer-sanctioned league and regional representative within the National Premier Leagues platform, is welcoming three new girls clubs as it expands across Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.

Gateway Rush, Gretna Elite Academy and Missouri Rush are joining the all-girls league for the 2024-25 season. For Missouri Rush, it’s an expansion of the club to bring in a second team for all age groups. Here are the member clubs of Central States NPL for next season:

  • Gateway Rush (Caseyville, IL)
  • Gretna Elite Academy (Gretna, NE)
  • JB Marine SC (Maryland Heights, MO)
  • Kansas City Scott Gallagher (Kansas City, MO)
  • Kansas City Surf (Overland Park, KS)
  • Missouri Rush – Blue (O’Fallon, MO)
  • Missouri Rush – White (O’Fallon, MO)
  • Sporting Nebraska FC (Omaha, NE)
  • Sting Nebraska (Omaha, NE)
  • Vision Soccer Academy (Waukee, IA)

While the additions represent an expansion of the league’s competition in the area, the Central States NPL also continues to broaden its programming, facilitating local implementation of US Club Soccer coach education and Player Development Programs (PDP).

“Gateway Rush Soccer Club is proud to announce the inclusion of our girls program in the Central States NPL beginning in the fall,” said Joe Reiniger, Owner and Executive Director of Gateway Rush Soccer Club. “This US Club Soccer platform will provide our teams with the opportunity to compete with other top clubs from the Midwest region.
