NorCal Premier elevates clubs to NPL Division for 2023-24 season
CHARLESTON, S.C. (May 11, 2023) – NorCal Premier announced the addition of new clubs to its NPL Division for the 2023-24 season. Solano Surf (boys and girls), Stanislaus United (girls), IR Academy (boys), Folsom Lake Surf (boys) and South Valley Chivas (boys) were all awarded full NPL club status, earning the promotions based on a thorough evaluation process.
Joining them as newcomers to the NorCal NPL Division next season are the following clubs with provisional NPL status: Stanford Strikers (boys and girls), IR Academy (girls), Monterey Surf (girls), Valley Surf (girls), AC Marin (boys), El Dorado Hills SC (boys) and Turlock Sports Park (boys). Provisional clubs are reviewed again after their first year in the NPL to ensure the league’s highest standards are being met.

NorCal Premier has organized an NPL member league since the NPL’s inception in 2011 and has been responsible for several National Premier Leagues champions over the years. The NPL is a network of regional leagues organized throughout the country, of which top teams from each league annually compete in the NPL Finals for championships.
