2022 Hawai’i State Cup qualifiers advance to National Cup XXI Finals
CHARLESTON, S.C. (May 17, 2022) – Twelve teams claimed championship titles at the 9th Annual Hawai’i State Cup, played at the Waipio Soccer Complex on Oahu. Sanctioned by US Club Soccer, the annual tournament offers state titles in the U-13 to U-18/19 boys and girls divisions. In total, 36 boys teams and 27 girls teams competed for the various titles, with six boys and six girls squads walking away as State Champions.
Hawaii Rush dominated the field, with teams from the club capturing four titles on the boys side (U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-18/19) and three on the girls side (U-14, U-15 and U-16).
Winning teams earned a direct berth to the US Club Soccer National Cup XXI Finals this summer in Denver, Colorado.
