CHARLESTON, S.C. (Feb. 2, 2022) – Applications are now available for the 2022 US Club Soccer State Cup: New Jersey, US Club Soccer’s state championship event for U-10 through U-18/U-19 boys and girls teams in the Garden State.

Open to all US Club Soccer member teams in New Jersey, the tournament begins in March. The state cup features two levels of competition: Super Group (most competitive) and Premier Group. Premier Group competition is offered in the U-13 through U-18/U-19 age groups.

The 2022 US Club Soccer State Cup: New Jersey will directly qualify Super Group division champions from U-13 to U-18/U-19 age groups to US Club Soccer’s National Cup XXI Finals, taking place July 14-21, at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO. Premier Group division winners advance to US Club Soccer’s National Cup XXI Mid-Atlantic Regional, June 25-29 in Somerset, NJ.

Interested teams are encouraged to submit applications here. The deadline to apply is Feb. 28.

New Jersey has a history of producing National Cup Finals contenders. Most recently, at the National Cup XX Finals this past summer, STA-MUSC ’05 ECNL won the U-16 Boys Super Group after emerging from the same division at the state level.
