CHARLESTON, S.C.(Nov.16, 2021) – US Club Soccer has announced the continuation of its “Importance of Coaching Education” interview series, featuring speakers from LaLiga, U.S. Soccer, Westchester Youth Soccer League, and US Club Soccer’sCoach Licensing Technical Leads.

The series, which was launched in September, will showcase the significance of coaching education in the United States as well as highlighting coaching education efforts being made by leagues and clubs across the country. The interviews are scheduled to continue through the remainder of 2021 and will be streamed live on most Wednesdays on US Club Soccer’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/usclubsoccer. Upcoming interviews scheduled in 2022 will be announced on a later date.

The continuation of the interview series will begin onWednesday, November17, as US Club Soccer CEO Kevin Payne and LaLiga will discuss the upcoming relaunch of LaLiga Formation Methodology courses in 2022 and the importance of the coaching education opportunities the league provides to U.S.coaches. The series features various leaders in coaching development and education in an effort to highlight the progress US Club Soccer has made in providing resources to member coaches, clubs and leagues.

Just this summer alone, US Club Soccer hosted over 100 courses in 12 states and has educated over 1,000 coaches in that time span. Since 2018, US Club Soccer has hosted over 450 U.S. Soccer Grassroots and D courses. US Club Soccer has also hosted five C courses in several regions in 2021.

Since the LaLiga Formation Methodology courses began in 2019, there have been 12 Level 3 courses, four Level 2, oneLevel 1-U.S., and one Level 1-Spain course hosted.Through 18 total courses, over 1,500 coaches from more than 400 clubs and organizations have been educated in LaLiga Formation Methodology.
