Major Island Soccer Organization Junior League (MJL) and Hawaiʻi Soccer Federation (HSF) hosted some of the best athletes from the state of Hawaii at the fourth id2 Selection event of 2021, sponsored by Verizon. The event was held October 9-12, at the Waipiʻo Peninsula Soccer Complex in Waipahu, Oʻahu.
The id2 selection hosted 124 players from 18 different clubs across the state that that included 2008-born boys and 2007-born girls. id2 Selection events, sponsored by Verizon, are identification and development opportunities conducted within the id2 Program umbrella.
Consistent with US Club Soccer’s philosophy that identification and development should be free to players, there is no cost to players. id2 selection camps are approved as an Olympic Development Program by the United States Olympic Committee and U.S. Soccer Federation.
