US Club Soccer Ohio State Cup Crowns 24 Qualifiers for National Cup Finals
Twenty-four teams from 15 clubs secured 2021 Ohio State Cup championships, May 23. Each club team at the Super Group division earned direct qualification to the National Cup XX finals, while the Premier division teams qualified for the National Cup XX Midwest Regional, the next stage in the pathway to the finals.
The Ohio State Cup, presented by Alliance Premier Soccer League (APSL), had 370 teams and over 6,500 players participating in this season’s event.
The 2021 Ohio State Cup semifinals and finals were held at Daree Fields in Dublin, Ohio, after the preliminary matches were held May 10-16 in Willoughby and Seville. The tournament crowed winners from both Super Group and Premier divisions at both the Girls and Boys ranks.
Out of all the teams that competed, Team Challenger FC, Pacesetter and Blast FC had a tournament-best three qualifying teams. Additionally, Soccer Vision Academy and Upper 90 Futbol were the other clubs to clinch multiple championships.

The Ohio State Cup winners will now quickly get back to action, as the National Cup XVII Midwest Regional kicks off, June 18-21 in Waukegan and Libertyville, Ill. The champions of that Regional will then move on to the National Cup XX Finals, July 16-20, at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.
