Q: Why did AYSO United SoCal apply for Players First licensing?

James Janosz, Director of Youth & Affiliates: AYSO United SoCal has a tremendous amount of respect and appreciation for the great work US Club Soccer has provided to support their member clubs, coaches and their players. Applying for Players First is another example of the extension of support and resources to provide our players and staff with additional resources on and off the pitch.

Q: What does it mean for AYSO United SoCal to now be an official Players First-licensed club?

Janosz: It is a validation and a statement to our hardworking staff, dedicated families and committed players that believe in our core values. Our core values are based on the things we consider to be important to the development of our program and this recognition aligns with our standards and expectations.

Q: What makes Players First licensing different from other initiatives or programs your club has participated in?

Janosz: AYSO United SoCal has demonstrated our philosophies and mission statement go together with the Players First licensing. Achieving a Players First license keeps the purpose of the club front and center in everything we do. Maintaining will be our success by following the five pillars as key indicators to the vindication of our club.

Q: What would you like the parents of AYSO United SoCal to know about what this means to them?

Janosz: Our club is committed to the players first. From all facets of the coaching staff, leadership team and our supporters we feel great pride in the commitment to serving the needs and interests of every AYSO United player. Our player-centered approach along with our continuous education is our commitment to creating a developmentally appropriate environment for our players and families to experience the beautiful game.
