Preview: NPL Girls and Boys Finals Begin on Thursday in Colorado
This year’s 2021 NPL Finals have arrived and kicks off on Thursday morning. Both the Girls NPL Finals and Boys NPL Finals and will be hosted July 8-12 in Commerce City, Colorado at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park.
NPL Girls Finals
The girls competition features the champions of NPLs across the country in U-13 through U-18/19 girls age groups. Competing teams will play group games before advancing to knockout rounds to determine the NPL champion in every age group.
Every year, NPLs compete throughout the year in their respective league competitions with their sights set on qualifying to the Girls NPL Finals.
NPL Boys Finals
For boys at the U-14 through U-17 age groups, this is the final stage of their tiered national post season competition. Qualifying teams from each NPL member league competed in the Boys NPL Playoffs – to compete in the 2021 NPL Finals.
The U-13 and U-18/19 age groups already participated in a single-stage post season, which took place during the NPL Boys Playoffs last week in Colorado and South Carolina.
Live Streamed Games
US Club Soccer will live streaming four championship matches on Monday, July 12. Those matches can be viewed live on the US Club Soccer YouTube and US Club Soccer Facebook pages. Those matches will be the NPL Girls U-19 and U-17 Finals, as well as the NPL Boys U-17 and U-16 Finals.
