US Club Soccer announces two international coach education experiences for member coaches

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Jan. 15, 2025) – US Club Soccer is thrilled to offer its members international coach education opportunities this year: the first in Scotland in April and the second in Switzerland in July. The European tours include a well-balanced curation of technical and tactical learning directly with academy directors, as well as cultural immersions through sightseeing and professional games.

Scotland

This tour will run concurrently with US Club Soccer’s boys id2 National Selection International Tour. Highlights include: three classroom sessions, attendance at several local academy training sessions and all of US Club Soccer’s id2 National Selection team games, tour of the Celtic FC stadium, attendance at an Scottish Premier Football League professional match and sightseeing to explore Edinburgh, Glasgow and surrounding areas. Switzerland

This tour takes advantage of the world-renowned UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 tournament, which takes place in Switzerland this year. The Dutch Soccer Federation (KNVB) is extending an immersive experience to attendees, including two group games of the Dutch National Team (July 5 vs. Wales and July 9 vs. England) and an additional group stage match of Spain vs. Portugal (July 3). Participants will join Dutch supporters in their pregame march to the stadium. Coaches can expect 5-6 classroom sessions with KNVB, which will focus on the Dutch National Team’s EURO preparations and KNVB girls soccer development in the Netherlands. Sightseeing excursions complement the itinerary. Please note the fast-approaching registration deadline is to accommodate EURO ticket deadlines. The tour organizer is Premier International Tours.
