Twenty teams win division titles at National Cup XXIII West Regional
TEMECULA, Calif. (June 24, 2024) – The fourth and final Regional of the National Cup XXIII concluded Monday afternoon at Galway Downs Soccer Complex in Temecula, California. Twenty teams reigned supreme, winning their respective divisions and in doing so, clinching berths to next month’s National Cup XXIII Finals in Denver, Colorado.
In total, 120 teams representing 58 clubs across five states competed in the National Cup XXIII West Regional. A handful of clubs won multiple brackets: AC Brea, Anaheim FC, Empire Surf, LAFC SoCal Youth and Laguna FC. And a few other clubs repeated as champions after winning West Regional titles last summer: AC Brea, LAFC SoCal Youth, Rebels SC and Sporting California USA. For the latter two, in particular – Rebels SC and Sporting California – this year capped back-to-back-to-back West glory.
