National Cup XXII Finals infused with Southeast Regional winners
BERMUDA RUN, N.C. (June 20, 2023) – The National Cup XXII Southeast Regional concluded Tuesday afternoon at Truist Sports Park in Bermuda Run, N.C. with 18 teams qualifying to next month’s National Cup XXII Finals in Denver, Colorado. A total of 90 teams from 10 states along the East Coast participated in the tournament among U-13 through U-19 boys and girls age groups.
Two clubs won multiple age groups: Carolina Velocity FC (U-13 Girls, U-14 Girls and U-14 Boys Super Group) and Charlotte Development Academy (U-17 Girls and U-19 Girls).

Carolina Velocity FC continues to perform well at the Southeast Regional, defending their titles from last year’s event. NASA Tophat and NC Fusion also repeated as champions. ASG Florida won the U-16 Boys Super Group division, completing a redemption tour after falling in the final game last year of the U-15 Boys Super Group.
National Cup XXII Regionals action concludes with the West Regional, June 23-26 in Temecula, California.
