South Central Regional kicks off National Cup XXII Regionals

TULSA, Okla. (June 12, 2023) – The South Central Regional, the summer’s first Regional event of the National Cup XXII tournament series, concluded Monday afternoon after four days of competition at Mohawk Sports Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In total, 21 teams representing 12 clubs were awarded Regional titles and qualification to next month’s National Cup XXII Finals in Denver, Colorado.

The South Central Regional, which featured 101 teams across six states in the region, offered a competitive cup-based environment for U-13 through U-19 boys and girls teams. The hometown favorite, Tulsa Soccer Club, won the most division championships of any other club with five. West Side Alliance SC followed closely with three, and St. Louis Scott Gallagher, Sporting Springfield and SG1 Soccer Club each won two brackets.

SG1’s U-17 Boys Premier Group championship team and Sting Soccer Club Austin’s U-19 Girls Super Group championship team both repeated as title winners from last year’s South Central Regional.
