Q: Why did Florida Premier FC apply for Players First licensing?

George Fotopoulos, Director of Coaching: We applied for Players First licensing because we share the same vision  for the future for our players and club that Players First shares. The Players First initiative gives us a platform to help players, coaches and parents grow on and off the field. 

Q: What does it mean for Florida Premier FC to now be an official Players First-licensed club?

Fotopoulos: We feel so blessed to be part of Players First. Helping young players deal with the issues that they face as they grow and develop in the game is so important in player development, and now having the Players First platform for our club is just amazing. 

Q: What makes Players First licensing different from other initiatives or programs your club has participated in?

Fotopoulos: The Players First initiative provides a holistic approach to the game. We feel that Players First helps players, coaches and parents with not only the technical and tactical side but also with sports performance and the health and safety side, which is a  game changer. 

Q: What would you like the parents of Florida Premier FC to know about what this means to them?

Fotopoulos: We are One Club, One Family at Florida Premier. We want our families to know that we will continue to work to help our players, coaches and parents have the best soccer experience. The Players First initiative and its tools are going to help our club get to a level that will impact our soccer community for generations.
