New England Impact NPL qualifies six girls teams to 2022 NPL Finals
CHARLESTON, S.C. (June 17, 2022) – A pair of clubs secured all six age groups of the New England Impact NPL, emerging triumphant after a challenging regular season and Impact Cup. The New England Impact NPL, an all-girls league with U-13 through U-19 clubs in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is closing out its second season within the National Premier Leagues platform.
Bayside FC (RI) led the way with division titles at the U-13, U-16, U-17 and U-18/19 age groups. Aztec Soccer (MA) grabbed the U-14 and U-15 divisions.

“The level of play across the New England Impact continues to be impressive,” said Dr. Dina Gentile, President of the New England Impact NPL. “Nationals is the platform to challenge and be challenged, which is what makes NPL extra exciting for our advancing teams. At the end of the league’s regular season was the Impact Cup, which began in mid-May with play-in and quarterfinal games, before progressing to semifinals and finals matchups in June. Bayside FC’s U-16 team was particularly convincing this season, as it enters the NPL Finals with an undefeated record. Aztec Soccer’s U-15 team returns to the NPL Finals after advancing all the way to the U-14 NPL Finals championship game last year.
The 2022 NPL Finals, to be held July 7-11 in Denver, Colorado, will feature qualifying teams from all NPLs throughout the country.
