2022 Florida Cup awards 13 championships
CHARLESTON, S.C. (June 11, 2022) – Twelve teams won 2022 Florida Cup championships after a challenging tournament schedule, which began with preliminary rounds in February before ultimately concluding May 15-16 at Viera Regional Park in Melbourne.
Braden River led the way with three division titles (U-12 boys, U-17 boys and U-19 boys). Florida West (U-12 girls and U-15 girls) and Space Coast United (U-14 girls and U-17 girls) were close behind on the club championship leaderboard. Full results are available here.
Champions of the U-13 through U-18/19 age groups earn qualification to the National Cup XXI Finals, which will be held July 14-21 at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Colorado. Space Coast United has experience climbing the echelon of US Club Soccer’s cup-based championship series, having won a National Cup Finals title last year at the U-16 girls Premier Group division.
