National Cup XXIII Southeast Regional winners clinch qualification to Finals
BERMUDA RUN, N.C. (June 18, 2024) – The National Cup XXIII Southeast Regional concluded Tuesday afternoon at Truist Sports Park in Bermuda Run, N.C. with 14 teams qualifying to next month’s National Cup XXIII Finals in Denver, Colorado.
A total of 88 teams from 50 clubs and 10 states along the East Coast participated in the tournament among U-13 through U-19 boys and girls age groups.
A pair of clubs clinched two divisions at this year’s Southeast Regional. FC Athletico took home the boys U-13 Group and U-14 Group titles, while Wake FC took home the girls U-14 Group and boys U-16 Super Group titles.
Carolina Velocity FC continues to perform well at the Southeast Regional, winning back-to-back-to-back titles. FC Athletico and Charlotte Development Academy also repeated as champions.
